Natural PDE5 inhibitors food for ED

Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) enzymes are responsible for contributing to the narrowing of the blood vessels in the body. Their hyperactivity causes constrictions of the blood vessels, blocking blood flow through them. However, one can naturally prevent PDE5 action with certain foods.

Foods do not directly suppress the action of PDE5 enzymes, like synthetic derivates such as pharmaceutical ED medicines including Viagra, Cialis, Tadora 20, etc. Instead, they naturally boost the release of nitric oxide in the body. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator chemical that negates PDE5 action and restores vascular function.

Watermelon

Watermelon is an excellent fruit, packed with essential nutrients that act as PDE5 inhibitors. They are packed with essential vitamins such as Citrulline, an amino acid, that is present in the white portion of the watermelon which surrounds the pulp.

Citrulline is converted into arginine, another amino acid that is involved in the release of nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a chemical compound, which promotes vasodilation and relaxation of the blood vessels.

An increase in the levels of nitric oxide keeps the blood vessels dilated, improving blood flow throughout the body. The blood circulation in the reproductive organs also gets boosted.

Watermelon has PDE5 inhibitor effects due to its citrulline content. It suppresses PDE enzymes and triggers nitric oxide release. In this way, watermelon can be beneficial for easing blood flow in the penile.

Pomegranate

Pomegranate is considered to be a superfood due to its high concentration of essential antioxidants. These antioxidants boost the production of nitric oxide (NO) in the body. Nitric oxide is beneficial for the optimal health of the erection function.

However, pomegranate is not a PDE5 inhibitor. It just enhances the levels of nitric oxide in the body. The release of Nitric oxide helps relax blood vessels, leading to improved blood flow in the body, including the genitals.

NO is a vasodilator compound that acts as a natural PDE5 inhibitor. Its function is to block the action of the PDE5 enzyme, which helps regulate blood flow to the penile.

Leafy greens

Leafy green vegetables, including spinach, kale, Swiss chard, and collards such as cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and others are rich sources of nitrates, which get metabolized by the body into nitric oxide (NO).

NO prevents PDE5 enzymes from narrowing the blood vessels. It dilates the blood vessels and eases the blood flow. Increasing your intake of these vegetables will maintain adequate levels of nitric oxide in the body. This will keep your blood vessels healthy.

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is a traditional herb that has been a part of Ayurvedic medicines since ancient times. It has been known for its powerful effects on sexual function. This herb can boost sexual health by improving sexual performance.

Although it is not categorized as a PDE inhibitor, it just naturally increases the flow of blood in the body, including the genitals. The herb has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can potentially benefit the health of sexual function.

It is necessary to consult a healthcare professional for safe intake of this potent herb. It might lead to some effects if taken more than necessary. Your healthcare provider will help you identify a suitable dose for your needs.

Carrots

Carrots are packed with various nutrients. They are an amazing source of antioxidants and nitrates, which may contribute to the production of nitric oxide in the body. An essential compound like Nitric oxide plays a crucial role in causing vasodilation and enhancing blood circulation throughout the body.

Due to its ability to increase nitric oxide levels in the body, carrots are natural PDE5 inhibitors food. A boost in nitric oxide levels can help relax blood vessels. This allows better circulation throughout the body, including to the genitals.

Carrots may help improve cardiovascular health and erectile function, by triggering the production of nitric oxide.

Berries

Berries, such as blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries, are loaded with antioxidants, and essential nutrients. The rich vitamins and minerals content of berries contribute to their numerous health benefits.

According to various studies, berries may have strong vasodilatory effects. This quality can help promote cardiovascular health. Besides, there is no evidence to suggest that berries are PDE5 inhibitors.

Berries are highly nutritious and may support overall cardiovascular health. However, there is insufficient scientific evidence to confirm whether berries directly inhibit the PDE5 enzyme like pharmaceutical medications.

They do contain natural compounds that have strong antioxidant properties. With these properties, berries may boost the release of nitric oxide in the endothelial walls of the penile blood vessels and prevent vascular damage.
